1 minute video:
For this I used the sound record system at the college to record a short explanation about one of my images.
I used 'Final Cut' to edit and produce this 1 minute video.
Final video:
I will create a 3 minute promotional video which will show pictures and examples of my photography. As well as a short voice over about how I became interested in photography.
The promo will also contain information about how to contact me, including my email address and website.
The type of promo I intend to create will be using after effects to create movement around my images in a way that is simple, professional and effective.

For my backing music I want a fairly simplistic, slower instrumental sound which won't distract away from my images, however emphasise my photographs. These are my short list.
Piano version of Linkin Park- In the end
I really like this backing track, its very atmospheric and I think it could work really well with my promo.
Sad piano underground beat
Although I do really like this piece, I think that maybe its a little repetitive and slightly too fast and upbeat in places for the mood in trying to create in my video.
Yanni- Marching season
I think this is too fast for the pace I want my promotional video to be.
Out of the three instumental pieces I have short listed, I am going to use the piano version of linkin parks, in the end as i feel it will emphasise my promotional video.
